The Riverbug was invented in New Zealand and has now established itself in Europe. Join us for a 6hour day clinic or trip or a 2 day clinic with overnight camping.

DUMOINE RIVER

....meet the Trailhead Van at Des Joachim’s ,Quebec 6pm.We will drive into Robinson Lake below Grande Chute in the van and set up a base camp. Saturday we will run a discover river bugging clinic in Red Pine Rapids. Sunday we will try the rapids in the Grande Chute canyon. We` ll have you back at your cars by 4pm.

Included: Riverbugs,instruction,shuttle,permits

Not Included: bring your own meals,tents,30L dry bag and camping gear.

LIEVRE RIVER

....the Lievre is a famous challenging class 2-4 whitewater river north of Mt Laurier in Quebec. We have put together a great 2 day trip

To experience the best of the Lievre and were looking for white-water canoeists who want to share a river bugging/canoeing experience. We’ll mix a fleet of solo tandem canoes, kayaks welcome too with Riverbugs. Canoes are required to carry the overnight gear but if everyone trades watercraft it will be a great shared experience.

You provide: tent, camping gear, meals

Logistics: meet the Trailhead shuttle van at Mont Ste Michel, Quebec and follow it to the takeout parking lot. Everyone gets in the van and we take you to the put in at Pine Depot. It’s an overnight trip back to the cars ,we`ll paddle 2 hrs the first day and a full day the second. From the takeout its 3.5 hrs back to Ottawa or Montreal.
