The Mistral 17.5 is a fast cruiser with loads of tripping capacity that retains excellent manoeuvrability for river paddling. The lightweight, durability and rigidity of the twintex laminate makes it equally suited for family paddling, canoe tripping or river expeditions.

At Trailhead we've added our own special touch to the Mistral design to make it even more suited to canoe tripping or river expeditions. We have customized the decks, added ash web seats for better durability, added a Trailhead deep dish yoke to make portages more comfortable and customized the placement of thwart and yoke to allow you to fit  60L barrels in front and behind the yoke.
